About the app
Who is behind it
Kam se ukrýt is an independent app. It was made so that people in Czechia can find the nearest shelter and know what to do when the siren sounds. The name means "Where to take shelter".
Not a government app
Kam se ukrýt is not run by the Czech state, the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic (HZS ČR) or Prague City Hall. We take the shelter data from their public maps. Shelters open on the authorities' order. In a real emergency, always follow the instructions of the emergency services and call 112 if you are in danger.
